I am delighted to announce that Spectro Radio has returned to its full audio library and
broadcasting schedule as of 5pm today, Thursday August 30th. As previously described, a dispute between our licensing company StreamLicensing and ASCAP left Spectro Radio without a license to broadcast audio that belonged to the ASCAP repertory.
That dispute is ongoing. However, in order to return Spectro Radio to its full broadcast capacity, yesterday I took the action of registering directly with ASCAP and paying for the additional license separately outside of my agreement with StreamLicensing so the station would be covered regardless of the settlement dispute with StreamLicensing.
Spectro Radio is now fully ASCAP licensed again! All programming and audio has been reinstated.
